Brandon "Clutch" Crawford is the only Giant in the history of the franchise to have SEVEN hits in one game! This feat has not been accomplished in 41 years since Pirates 2nd baseman, Rennie Stennett, did it in 1975 vs. the Cubs. Stennett is the only one to do it in 9 innings - but no less impressive for Craw! Where would we be without Clutch?! He's a GIANT part of this team!

According to all reports, Buster did NOT break his index finger! Hallelujah! Bench coach and acting manager says he jammed his finger and should be fine. Brownie will catch Moore tomorrow, as Buster was in the squat for the equivalent of almost 2 full games, for over 5-1/2 hours! Now that's hard on the knees!

Also, according to my research, Boch will be back tomorrow. There is no word on why he was admitted to the hospital last night. My guess is that stress manifested itself in a physical manner. Wishing our Skipper all the best, and hoping he really will be back tomorrow. I think his absence is one of the reasons our Gmen fought so hard. Keep up the great work, Boys! GO GIANTS!
