My New Years wish...to see the 49ers in the 2018 playoffs. Yes, it can happen. The foundation is there. And I'm sold on Jimmy G. Now I love the speedy Goodwin, but we need one of these 2018 free agents; a big WR deep threat to go along with Goodwin and Pierre Garson in De Andre Hopkins (Texans), or Jaruis Landry (Miami). I like both of them. Julian Edelman will be a FA, but I like the passion the 49ers Taylor brings. One of these two DE stalwarts- Ezekiel Ansah (Lions) or Sheldon Richardson (Jets) would give the Niners the much needed pass rush they've lacked. Of course CB Malcolm Butler of the Patriots would be an ideal fit in our secondary. And if we draft wisely and give Jimmy G. the protection he needs, I see playoffs in the near future. The blue print is set. Look how the Rams with a new coach, and a more confident QB in Geoff are making a playoff run. This could be us next year. Anyone agree?
